Having the memories and being able to hear the laughter brought upon my friends and me
Sitting around the fireplace with family telling jokes and sharing our favorite memories
Feeling the butterflies and excitement inside me when I am preparing for my volleyball game in the locker room
The ability to listen to music
Hearing the ball hitting pins, seeing how many pins fell, and the expression on my family members' faces
Being downstairs and smelling the scent of dinner being prepared upstairs
The laughter brought about while playing games with Tony's family and my family
Walking in and out of stores shopping with my Grandma Nancy
Feeling the wind go through my hair and hearing the screams at amusement parks
~Journal Entry~
I just experienced the scariest thing of my life, I think! This evening I went to my boyfriend's house in Elk Horn for supper, and when I was coming home there were flashing lights. I turned in the direction of the lights since I wondered what was going on. When I came to the flashing lights, I saw two cop cars and a red car with its drivers door and passenger door open. Next to one of the cop cars there stood the two cops and one guy. The guy had a big bushy beard, a baseball cap, a big coat, and baggy jeans. The cops were waving their flashlights up and down the guys body and inside and out of his pockets. I called my boyfriend right away! The thoughts that went through my mind were that this situation had to do with drugs. My boyfriend and his oldest sister drove by but the cops had left the scene. There was a tow truck there to tow the guys' car. I may never know what went on, but I will always have an idea in my mind.
